<p>The project undertook several networking activities, including the hosting of a conference on streets with FEATI University and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the Ateneo de Manila University in 2005. Universities share a common interest in revitalizing the areas surrounding them. However, religious universities are more open to this idea than private universities which, behaving like private sector companies, generally shy away from non-profit undertakings.</p>
